A tired roofline ages a house ten years. New UPVC, properly fixed with the right falls, finishes a roof job and protects the wall below it.
Seven stages from strip to weather tight.

- 01. Strip the old roofline. Rotten timber fascias and soffits down. Old UPVC capping off. Gutters, downpipes and swan necks removed and recycled.
- 02. Rafter ends and cover board. Rafter ends checked for rot or splay, cut back square, treated. New 9mm cover board fixed to give the new fascia a clean flat run.
- 03. Soffits and ventilation. Ventilated soffits where loft venting is required to Part F. Continuous over fascia vent strip on shallow eaves so the roof breathes.
- 04. New 18mm UPVC fascia. Full replacement fascia, not a cap over rotten wood. Stainless polytop nails, joiners sealed, internal corners mitred.
- 05. Guttering set to fall. Square or half round to suit the house. Set to 1:600 fall to the outlet. Brackets at 800mm centres. Stop ends and joiners sealed in EPDM.
- 06. Downpipes and ground discharge. Pipes plumbed true. Swan necks fabricated to the eaves projection. Shoes over gulleys, or direct connection to the rain water drain if required.
- 07. Clear up and guarantee. All offcuts, packaging and old timber removed. 10 year guarantee on materials, our workmanship warranty on top.
